03/06/04 Thank you so much! I knew there had to be someone out there with an answer and luckily I found your company. Thanks again... Bob M.
03/04/04 I want to say how much I appreciate your fast response to my request and your excellent price but I could not get it past the wife. She has been begging for a new stove for years. It has got to be a real pain to answer all the requests you receive and not get the courtesy of a reply back. I will keep you bookmarked though as this is exactly the kind of service that is so hard to find these days and I will pass your site on to anyone who requests the name of some one reliable. And by the way I would have bought it in a second if not for my wife wanting a new stove. Sears wanted $90.00 for the exact same thing. Thanks so much and take care. Sincerely, Thomas C.
03/04/04 Thanks Ann for letting me know. It is Friday early AM here and it has not arrived. But Global does not usually arrive for 5 days from the US, even though they say maybe 3 to 5. I am not expecting it until Saturday anyway. Regular Air Mail says 7 to 10 days but usually is 10 to 14 days. Thanks and I will email you as soon as it gets here. Thanks again. Hank L. (Japan)
03/03/04 Thank you so much!! I just placed the order through the link provided. Cindy I.
03/03/04 Hi Ann, Thanks for writing back. None of the burners will click or light, so I am assuming the problem is before the switches...But, since I wrote, I've played around a little with it, and the spark module is NOT getting the 120 volts on terminal (L). I think the problem could be even before the spark module ( I guess?) Any thoughts most greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kristen M.
03/02/04 THANKS Ann for the information. If I need parts, you certainly are at the top of my list. Jim W.
03/02/04 Ann: Thanks for your response. I remember seeing a screen (don't remember if it was used or new) for $12. What I really need is the handle that came off the lint screen, making it difficult to move the screen in and out of the dryer. I hope you sell them with a handle. Thanks - Sanjiv S.
03/02/04 Hi Ann, Thanks for your prompt reply. I removed the cover from the basement power panel to get access to the double circuit breaker for the range/oven. Both legs of the circuit read 110 volts. I did not check the circuit at the other end where the range/stove is plugged in. I will do that next and let you know what I find.......(It seems very odd though that the AC power would change only on one circuit? Just out of the blue at 7 pm last night the F6 light went on and the unit beeped until reset...?) Thanks, David S.
03/02/04 Dear Ann, Thank you so much for your prompt reply & information. The part was for a rental refrigerator. I found a supplier that would send me the part for a mere $89.43 & include shipping. We are talking about a 3" triangular piece of sheet metal with 3 holes drilled into it. Of course the renter wants his refrigerator 'right now'. So I made the thing- & low & behold, IT WORKS ! Take Care, Dan J.
03/02/04 You are most kind Ann, Thank You very much. Terence N.
03/01/04 You guys nailed the problem and I just wanted to thank you for all your help! Mark C.
03/01/04 Thank you! I'm sorry to do this to you, but would it be possible to get the Broiler element as well? My mother-in-law would like to replace both since she is replacing one. If it is possible, please add it to the order that you just sent me a confirmation on. Thank you! Kristi T.
03/01/04 Thank You for your prompt reply. Just installed the part yesterday. Had trouble identifying the correct wiring. Everything was reversed on the new part. Thought red to red would be correct, (that is the way it was on the other part). It went on the green side though. Used a multimeter to figure it out. Thanks again. Mark L.
02/29/04 Very quick and accurate responses. He explained every step clearly and I was able to get to the root of the problem with ease. Robert F.
02/27/04 Excellent advice. Ann was on the Spot. I looked at my appliance and sure enough, she identified the problem and even included the part number to order to repair it. All this in less than 1 hour after I submitted my question. WELL DONE! Trevor H.
02/25/04 Thank you so much! You are wonderful. I have to say, you have great customer service skills. It's nice to enquire with a company that will actually help me in a timely manner. Very rare. I look forward to hearing from you tomorrow. Thanks again. Heather I.
02/23/04 Thanks for all of your help. I will look at it this weekend again and decide what to do. Jim E.
02/22/04 Ann....Thank You very much for your research. Please keep me in mind if you run across this part - just in case.... Susan M.
02/21/04 Eric & Ann, We are up and running. Thank You both for all your help. Jack & Kay R.
02/20/04 That was fast. I had figured it out. I had the belt in the groove on the tub and it didn't belong there. Thanks for the diagram and all of your help. Earl B.
02/19/04 I just wanted to say thank you for fast service. The motor arrived just before 6 pm yesterday. In 20 minutes I had the replacement motor installed. I will be telling many of my friends about your service, also Thank You Elaine for the speedy paperwork. Sincerely, Dennis C.
02/19/04 Hello, I ordered a dishwasher kick plate assembly from you a few weeks ago. It was exactly the right thing I needed. I would like to thank you for your friendly and prompt service (Ann with her informative e-mail, and Elaine with her help on the phone and little note on the invoice). It is nice to deal with people who care about their customers (even when they are 1st time customers). I would definitely do business with you again. Thank you, John N.
02/17/04 Thanks for your prompt response and the discount. In this case, we opt not to replace the burner. It will make more sense for us to buy a brand new oven/stove instead. Thanks again. Ernie Y.
02/16/04 Ann - Thanks for everything...paperwork and part arrived in good order and all is well! Received the shipping charge refund paperwork as well - Thanks! Your company is definitely in my "favorites" folder....but I hope you won't be insulted if I say I hope I don't have to order parts from you again!!! Best Mike L.
02/15/04 Ann, Thanks so much for effort on looking up the hinges. Sounds like it may be time to look into a new oven rather than keep working on this one. I will keep your address until I decide which way I'll go. F.Y.I. out of several emails to different places looking for these hinges you are the only one that responded. Thanks again for the response. Mark S.
02/14/04 Thank you Eric. I sure appreciate your help, and thank you for the combined shipping. You guys have been so helpful to me. The lady at the church who I work for thinks I’m not too sane. (whose washing machine this is) I believe you are close…in fact between us we may have almost as much sanity as any one who didn’t have too much. In one discussion with Ann, I think she mentioned a fan, and I noticed pin holes and label on the clock board mounted on the touchpad frame. It gets pretty warm, but I didn’t really think it was too hot – but, it is time and temperature. The board gets pretty hot to solder it, but it doesn’t stay hot very long. Well, we’ll just see this stuff when it comes in and make it work. Thank you for your help. Ray K.
02/12/04 Ann, Thanks for the Whirlpool oven selector switch. It works great! Dan B.
02/12/04 Hi Ann Thanks very much for your help. The problem is solved. I checked the drain and there's no more icing up at the drain outlet so that the problem actually was the backward fan blade installation - what a relief. I think when you suggested that the fan might be the cause of an overly cold coil compartment i.e. it being loose on the shaft, etc. , that cued me into thinking about the possibility of a backwardly installed fan so that your input was key to the solution. It really was such a silly problem that I suppose it could be easily overlooked by any service person - I'm actually somewhat surprised that GE didn't have fool-proof means of ensuring that the fan only went on one way period or that a special one-way cupped blade wasn't necessary for proper air flow. Anyway, Thanks again. Paul M.
02/11/04 I want to thank you very much for your help. My son and husband were in your store Saturday to get the part for the dishwasher, and it works. Thanks again. Irene G.
02/10/04 Just wanted to let you know it went in fine and I now have an oven again. Thanks for all of your help Don S.
02/10/04 The parts arrived and were picked up today. Thanks again, looks like it's what we needed. All is well in the "Frozen North". Thanks Dot K.
02/10/04 Ann Thank you - it's so nice to do business with someone with honesty and integrity, and I deeply appreciate it. It will be nice for me if the shipping is less, but if not, it can't be helped. Again, Thanks, Sandra R.
02/09/04 Thank you so much for responding. If you ever get some in, please let me know. I'm having a heck of a time finding them. Melanie J.
02/07/04 As a senior citizen, (who does most of her own repair work) I've dealt with a whole lot of appliance, electrical supply companies, auto repair and car sales, sewing machine companies, etc., etc., etc. Never in all my life have I bumped into someone who declined to sell me what I offered to buy, and furnished the information (the exploded diagram for the now working again dryer) for free!!! This has got to be the all-time best!! They have all my business, each and every time I need a part, etc. Sharon E. Cirrito Niagara Falls, NY
02/06/04 Dear Ann, I just received my package yesterday. Thank you for checking on it. - Yvette M.
02/06/04 You are absolutely the best!!! Thank you so much. I ordered the knobs today. About the glass for the front, I actually have the front piece of glass intact. I guess what I really need is the frame it goes in, sort of like a picture frame. The frame broke and the glass came out. Can I order just that and, maybe even more importantly, would I be able to put it in myself? I will definitely keep you in my "favorites" file for future reference - you are the only company that even bothered to reply - and so quickly. If I can ever, ever recommend you to anybody I know here in Arizona you can bet your bottom dollar I will! Hope you guys are having a wonderful evening in Pennsylvania!! How's the weather? Cheryl M.
02/05/04 Yes, and again, my thanks. Where again, is the site for expressing my pleasure with your service? Sharon C.
02/05/04 Ann & Eric Thanks for all the timely responses. I now know that we are going to replace the part instead of replacing our old compactor (they've gotten expensive in the last 15-20 years!). I'm headed to your website now to order. Again - thanks so much! Ree K.
02/04/04 Yes, please ship today, and thank you for your help and prompt response. Suzanne M.
02/04/04 Thank you so much for your quick response. I will have to talk this over (with my better half) and decide if the oven is worth it. My neighbor (who has lived here since the house was built) told me he thinks the oven is close to 28 years old. May not be worth it. Thanks again and I will certainly order the part from you should we decide to go that route. I appreciate all your help. Randy
02/02/04 Thank you. I will remember you the next time I need some parts. I will also let others know about your great service. I will also ship you part back to you today. Thanks A Ton, Jeremy O.
02/01/04 I just wanted you to know that we got the part in today and it works perfectly! Thank you so much! You guys were very kind and helpful. I hope that you have a pleasant weekend. Take care. Sincerely, The Dressers
01/30/04 Thank you for responding....Yes it is a vacuum cleaner and I am convinced it was the Edsel of the Kenmore/Sears
line...LOL. Was in for repairs more then not...Thank you again. Maria G.
01/29/04 Thanks for getting back to me. My husband and I really appreciate your alternative suggestion. We will try that and see how it works and if we aren't happy with the results, we will consider purchasing the parts from you. We will definitely keep you in mind for future appliance parts in the future. Thanks again, Dorothy D.
01/28/04 Dear Elaine, We received our heating element today for our dryer. We just wanted to say thank you for the great service. Not said enough in today world. Regards, Jeff V.
01/28/04 Quick and reasonable response...thanks! I had no idea this site existed until today when I searched on Google. It's great! Jonathan C.
01/27/04 Ann, Thank You for the information. You have been very helpful. Have a Great Day. Virg C.
01/26/04 Hi Ann, It was so kind of you to respond to my parts search inquiry. I will certainly keep you folks in mind in the future. Thank you. Kirk H.
01/21/04 Hi Eric & Ann...............Geeze, I feel like we're old friends! Bill P.
01/19/04 Good morning, I was having some difficulty in installing a new GE dryer belt, in thinking it was to long. That was until I saw a schematic of how the belt need to be installed , on your web site. Thanks for the help. Robert W.
01/17/04 Eric and Ann were the biggest help and I would rate them the Best in helping me fix my Washing Machine. Thank You Eric and Ann a Million. Jeffrey P.
01/12/04 Dear Ann, We finally installed the 148220 Oven Ignitor. It had to be slightly modified but it works great. If you come across any more of the 1482212 igniters (for the top burners) please let us know. It was an exact match. Thanks again for your help and Happy New Year. Thomas B.
01/10/04 Ann: Thank you for your help with this, you were helpful. Thank You Again. Sheila C.
01/08/04 There was an old dryer in Sea Girt
Whose noise made its owners' ears hurt.
Thanks to Eric and Ann,
Who devised a fine plan,
Its demise became wise to avert. John U.
01/08/04 Thanks Eric for the useful answers but more so for your sense of humor! Michael F.
01/05/04 Verify knowledgeable. Thanks so much. Samuel K.
01/04/04 Thank you for your help. Your response was both accurate and easy to understand. I WILL definitely be visiting your web-site in the future for all of my repair needs. Clark K.
01/03/04 Same day response time. Answered my questions with prompt and accurate answers. Ann was very polite and offered more assistance if needed. Thanks again. David G.
12/29/03 Ann, Received the part today and I just wanted to let you know that it was a snap to replace and it was the problem. The washer works as good as new. Thanks for saving me a trip to Sears that would have most likely cost me over $700.00!! Great service you offer. I will be a returning customer. Thanks also for the speedy service. Steve W.
12/26/03 Thanks for your help! I've sent your first message on to my husband to see if he knows which part isn't working and I'll get back to you. Ellen G.
12/22/03 Thanks for your suggestions in what to look for in another dishwasher. Any other thoughts you might have would be appreciated as well. Karen K.
12/20/03 Ann gave clear answer quickly to find the problem. Even though I did not repair my refrigerator since it is late and I just bought a multi tester to diagnose the problem, I still appreciate Ann's assistance. Ann is the best. Thanks so much to her and others like her for giving time and effort to help others. Nhan M.
12/17/03 Thank you so much for time and advice it is much appreciated. Happy Holidays! Sino B.
12/12/03 Hi Ann, The package of parts arrived over the weekend. Thank you for your prompt service and shipping. I've put the washer timer in and it seems to be fine. We haven't checked all the cycles yet.. but the one load we ran was okay. I'm not 100% sure if I really needed the little rubber feet.. as they looked to be in the same condition as the ones on our machine. I cleaned ours up a little.. and the lid quick sticking down.. I'll probably keep them as spares. Thank You so much for your prompt, reliable service and your professional advice. Joe K.
12/10/03 Dear Ann, Boy! You guys have some kind service! I trust things are going well for your business. I figured anybody that goes home and answers E-Mails after working all day, certainly should be. Nice to see for a change. Most of the inquiries I sent out made quick check on model number and said either could not identify or not available, nothing else. If they had bothered to check they probably would have found the same things I found and probably yourself. At any rate, Yes I would appreciate a picture. Does control have thermostatic wire coming from it? I'm assuming you will E-mail the picture? Sorry for all the trouble, but is my Mothers Oven so don't want to receive wrong part, she's already having a fit. Regards, K. Miller
12/10/03 Eric and Ann, got back from my trip this week and installed the Start Relay. My refrigerator works fine now. Thanks for your expert advise and quick response. The price of the part was good too! Keep up the fine work.. Best Regards, Bob L.
12/10/03 Ann, I received my GE burner unit today and it is an exact fit. However, it looks more new than used. Did you ship the wrong one? Larry A.
12/09/03 Thank you so much for correcting my order! I really appreciate it! Kelly K.
12/08/03 Ann, Happy Holidays to you as well. As a small business owner myself, I appreciate you service. BTW, the thermostat works fine and solves a long standing problem I have had with the upper over. I will certainly use your company for all my future appliance part needs. Do you offer troubleshooting advice as well? And, finally if I am replacing an appliance, can you comment on brands that may be more trouble-free based on your experience in selling replacement parts? Cheers, Larry A.
12/08/03 Thank you. I appreciate your prompt reply. I look forward to getting the part. Rick O.
12/07/03 Eric & Ann, I'll get them on order soon. Your welcome for the compliment-its very surprising to get personal service with quick response so keep up the good work. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Very few companies do that anymore. Do you know if the black is interchangeable functionally with the gray part. Chris B.
12/07/03 Wow, customer service. I have heard of it... but never actually experienced it! Benton B.
12/06/03 Very helpful. Even left an 800 number if I had any more questions (which I did). Thank you for your help. Tom C.
12/05/03 Ann - Thank you for your assistance. I'll look at it again tonight and place my order accordingly. You've been a tremendous help! Aaron R.
12/04/03 Ann, The rack and knob arrived safely! Pulling the stove out from the wall will have to wait until after the holidays. Meanwhile, both ovens rose to the Thanksgiving occasion of 7 people. Gary S.
12/02/03 Got it already! Great service! Thanks, Dave S.
12/01/03 You were so right about it being the coils. It took ten minutes to change, one minute to test and five more minutes to put the dryer back into working condition. I will be calling the service company tomorrow to complain because not only did they misdiagnose the problem but he broke the plastic clips on the door frame of the dryer. But thank you so much for taking the time to reevaluate the diagnosis, you saved me money I honestly did not have to spend. Again, Thank You so much. Kim S.
11/26/03 Ann, you two are an interesting couple. Is yours a two person business? I'm guessing you are 37 and he is 42. You have had your business for 7 1/2 years. You both seem to share in the correspondence aspect of your business so I assume it is not a huge operation. Who takes care of the kids? You don't need to answer I'm just a senile old man. Good luck, Bill C.
11/26/03 OK, I'm a better guesser than you but not by much. I'm a 78yr old retired physician. Married to same delightful woman for 55 years this coming June 8th. We have four daughters and nine grandchildren. We live six months in California and six in Nebraska. The kids are scattered all over so we see them irregularly and only very very rarely all at once. We like it that way because we have a wonderful life of our own and really enjoy retirement. Thank you for visiting with me - who knows someday we might meet. Regards, Bill C.
11/25/03 Dear Ann, Thank you for your time and assistance. I am book marking your site, and will use again in the near future. Have a wonderful Holiday. Again, Thank You, Lucy B.
11/21/03 Hi Ann! I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that I received my parts today. They are EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you for all the wonderful assistance that you have given me. You are just terrific!!! Until next time!!! Dennis D.
11/21/03 Thank you very much… I have enjoyed working with your company. And looking forward to the delivery of the parts… If the service is any indication of the quality of the parts I will be very happy. Thanks for taking time to answer a few questions before I placed the order. If I need additional items I will look to your company to provide those items. Ed S.
11/20/03 Hi Ann, The package arrived safely yesterday. Thanks again for selling the dispenser to me. Rich C.
11/15/03 Correct defrost heater arrived today. I really appreciate your excellent and fast service. It was a pleasure buying from Affordable Appliance Service. Thank you! Ronald L.
11/13/03 Hey Eric, I've owned a company for the past 6 years that designs props for Halloween and small haunted houses. Many of the props are low pressure pneumatics and are designed to operate using dishwasher solenoids as a control valve. Most people have no idea where to look for such parts so I point them in your direction. Your web site is very informative and easy to navigate. The link to your site is at www.terrorsyndicate.com under the links section. Thanks and I will recheck those wires with a meter as advised. Steve D.
11/12/03 You guys do a great job. I had that shelf in my hands so quickly! I will definitely continue to do business with you! Lynne B.
11/11/03 Hello from Fresno, CA: The box containing the dryer console glass for my Maytag dryer arrived the other day. I didn't unpack it so I wouldn't take a chance breaking the glass on the trip from my mother's house to my house, so the glass will remain safely packed and will sit atop the Maytag dryer until the replacement occurs. Thanks very much, once again, for contacting me and sending the glass. A reminder to keep me in mind if any of the classic automatic washers/dryers surface for sale. Hope you enjoy the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Sincerely, George H.
11/10/03 We have a washer!!! Thanks, Jerry C.
11/08/03 Hello! Thank you for your good service. We received the parts yesterday. I'm very pleased to work with you and hopefully we can do it again. Regards, Michel A.
11/07/03 Got the part today and it's exactly what my mother needs - Thanks for the excellent service! Nick D.
10/29/03 Thank you! I will go ahead and order the part on your website. Have a great day! Nick M.
10/29/03 Got It... Installed It...Thanks! Jeremy J.
10/28/03 Dear Ann, Thanks again for your help. The oven buttons work perfect. Don D.
10/23/03 Hi! Well we now have ice! A plug connector came off of the valve from the last time we were checking it. I don't know what is different than before except filling the tray with water to start it but it works. And I thank you all a lot. I will be definitely recommending you to family and friends whenever they need something!! I haven't received the shelf yet maybe today. Thanks so much! Jennifer S.
10/20/03 Hello, Thank you so much for your advice. It may take me a few days to get it checked out and I'll let you know what parts I may need. You are very kind to offer your help in figuring it out. Yours, Mel S.
10/18/03 Hello Ann, Thanks for the pump, it arrived quickly (Friday) and very nicely packaged. I had to do a few modifications to make the pump work. At least electrically it is compatible! Charlie C.
10/17/03 Hi Ann, I forgot all about this, please if you still have them go ahead and charge my card and ship them to me? By the way do you sell ice makers? Thanks, Jen S.
10/17/03 Dear Ann & Eric, Thank You for the picture. This is the part we are looking for...this is great...Thank You. We are waiting for the part ASAP. We need both Left & Right pieces. Regards, Cenk G.
10/15/03 Thank You very much for all your efforts. I will recommend you and use you in the future. Charles C.
10/13/03 You are great! Thanks so much for getting the part # for me. I will search as you suggest. Alice M.
10/12/03 Eric-Thanks for the great (and detailed!) response. I'm going to pry myself away from the television in awhile and see if I can locate the faulty device. Just curious - are all the below items things you guys normally have in stock, or would I have to wait for parts to be ordered? Either way - the price sounds right, and if I can track down the problem I'd be glad to order from you given the great help you've offered. Thanks, RJ
10/10/03 Thank You very much, it has been a pleasure dealing with you! Bart P.
10/08/03 Thanks for your help Ann, I will use your service in the future and will refer others. Barry L.
10/07/03 I will give it a turn and see what happens but I have the feeling I will be ordering one from you soon. Thanks Ann. Joe D.
10/07/03 Hi Ann, Whew.. Thank You.. That is good news on the microwave. We appreciate you taking the time to check it out for us. Also, the part for the Kitchen Aid arrived today and all is well.. I'm not sure what to do with the old piece as I would like to recycle.. but I suppose that it's off to the landfill since it's hard to tell what kind of plastic it is. Maybe I'll pull the hardware off it to keep back for spares.. not that we'll ever need them... if you could use the rollers, slider or any parts off this piece, I'd be happy to send it or the parts to you... maybe someone would have a need... It has the seals and all in tact... but I find it hard to believe that anyone would ever have a need for those pieces, though I could be wrong??? I'm a recycle nut here but in Bay Village, it's a real hassle to recycle.. when I lived in Ft. Wayne, IN it was a lot easier.. what they didn't take from the bin curbside, they took at the local grocery store at the recycling center there... so it was very convenient. At any rate, Sheryl and I would like to thank you for the prompt service and the assistance. Joe S.
10/04/03 We want to thank you for your advise on my refrigerator problem. I replaced the temperature control and it is now working fine. Thanks again! Marco B.
10/03/03 Thanks very much, and good weekend wishes back to you. George H.
10/03/03 Hi Ann, Thank you for your email and the additional part number/pricing information for the washer/dryer items. Unfortunately, I had to switch gears today and jump to refrigerator repair. :O) I called and talked to Elaine today and she helped me out with the required part number/pricing and ordering process in your absence. I noted that this had been broke for a while and I kind of forgot about it... but we wanted to get this fixed before moving onto any additional washer/drier repairs. I was also teasing that my wife keeps breaking stuff faster than I can fix!! :O) At any rate, I got a few funny comments from Elaine and I appreciated her going along with my humor.. Thanks again for the information.. I'll keep it archived for reference.. and will get back in touch with you soon on this. Regards, Joe S.
10/03/03 I received the part for my stove today, and I have successfully installed it. I did not know that the unit would come without the front label on it. I had to take the sticky front label off of the old one, and put it on this one. No big deal though, I completed it without any troubles. I got it installed, and now, my oven works as it is supposed to. I want to thank you for all the help with this, and because of all the help, I decided that your company had earned my business, so I ordered the part from you. I felt that was only right. So, in short, I thank you very much, for helping me troubleshoot my stove/oven. You have just saved me between $300 and $400. Thank you. Chris M.
10/01/03 Eric, your simple & accurate instructions to solve our annoying problem (getting rid of the buzzer sound on our dryer) were great! Thanks for the prompt reply. You have a new loyal customer!! Andy B
09/28/03 I set the dials as you recommended, and also turned off the 'reduces exterior moisture' switch and the Refrigerator temperature went right down as desired within an hour. Thank you so much. Melissa G.
09/26/03 Thank you for your prompt response. I have located two racks here in the Seattle area. I appreciate your time and help and shall file your firm for future use/reference. Again, Thanks. Fred K.
09/23/03 Thanks a Lot !!! Your information ,support and the promised time you said you would get an answer to my request was right on the money...You saved me a bundle...all it took was a little information from you and I was able to fix it myself...Thanks Again--Michael W.
09/23/03 Ann, Just got back from vacation. I installed the part and everything works well on my Maytag (that would be the Maytag that makes great commercials and really pathetic appliances) Thanks for your help. I'm happy we worked things out. I would order again. Dave R.
09/22/03 Yes, Ann, maybe I should try the used part # 305205 instead of the new. Thanks for suggesting it. Jim H.
09/20/03 Thank you very much. I really appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. Howard F.
09/20/03 Thanks for the information. I have bookmarked your site, and will make sure to check with you for any future needs. Jeff T.
09/20/03 Dear Ann, Thanks so much for your quick response that was so informative. I wondered if we should change repairman and now I know the answer is yes, as well as keep on Frigidaire's case. Your insight into to the problem was most helpful and gives me something else to go on. Thank again and I too wish your service dept. was closer. Take care...Kay D.
09/19/03 Thanks Eric and Ann! I found a mud dobbers nest attached under the vacuum switch in question. After I removed it, the fill cycle on my washer worked just fine. Oh well...I guess we have special problems out here in the country! Mario A.
09/19/03 The best!! A 10 plus!! Bill T.
09/19/03 Dear Ann, You were right...it is the belt. Thanks for your prompt reply. I'm going to your web site right now to order the part. I hope it comes with installation instructions because I'm very new at this. Thanks again, Mel M.
09/17/03 "Dear Ann, It rolls, it rolls" was cute, but...IT FLAMES, IT FLAMES!!! The repair package came in today. I got home a little before 8. Checked out the wire colors and said "what the heck". Only took me an hour including reinstallation and testing. It'll be nice to put on dry clothes again. :) Thanks, guys (as usual, as always). John U.
09/17/03 Quick and thorough. Great service. Tom W.
09/17/03 Dear Ann, Your were kind enough to send me a used timer at the end of April (you sent it to a different address which is my home in the country) and I used it about 10 times or so. The timer had been the problem and after installing it, the dryer worked just fine until the motor finally gave out so I decided to spring for a brand new dryer and removed your timer before sending the old dryer to the dump. At that time, I had a terrible time finding a replacement part since this item has been discontinued and I was delighted to find that you had one. It has been sitting on my desk for a couple of months now because I wanted to return it to you but mislaid our e-mails with your Company Name, Address etc, but came across them this morning. This one is still in perfect condition and I felt that someone else might have the same problem and might be able to use it so I am returning it to you.-I don't want anything for it, I was just delighted that you were so helpful to me at that time. Sincerely, Desmond K.
09/15/03 Hello, Thank you for not allowing me to purchase the wrong item. I ordered that one because I was told that it was correct by another site, but they wanted $50 for it. Please let me know how to check the thermostat and heat fuse so that I do not buy the wrong thing. Thank you very much, Walt P.
09/14/03 These people deserve a bonus or something special from this website. These folks corresponded back and forth with me for a week and even though I am sure I tested their patience and nerves, they were always professional and kind towards me. The best part of the experience is they have shared their knowledge with me. Perhaps when my kids grow up my knowledge will help them. Eric and Ann were two of the best people I have ever dealt with using your site and I hope they are recognized for their efforts. Mike P.
09/12/03 Thank you Ann for the reply and the hot tip about Sears having the part. I'll check them out. Dean P.
09/11/03 Dear Ann, Thanks again for all your assistance. I've met many wonderful people through the internet and I count you as a real jewel! Regards, Donna N.
09/10/03 Thanks for the parts. I received them on 9-9-03. Good service and prices - I don't know where else I could have bought a used clock/timer etc. I'll be back. Thanks, Glenn S.
09/10/03 The unit is up at the cottage and I will have to go up their to try that. I don't know.......but we did a major cleaning after boiling lobsters and steamers and we may have hit them. How should they be and how does it affect the unit. Thanks. you are the first person to ask these questions.......this is good trouble shooting.........run a training class for the other million companies on the web and make some money. Thanks again for your help. Tony D.
09/10/03 Eric and Ann have been above and beyond the call of duty. They are spending a lot of time trying to help me fix something that they can not physically see. Very impressive!. Michael P.
09/10/09 Ann, This is a note to let you know that I have not fallen off the face of the earth, but rather am still interested in the items below. I hope your third bay comes through with the goods real soon. Aryeh K.
09/09/03 Ann, You are too kind. Charge me 20% though. I have been enough of a pain in the ass! I want you to still like me just in case I need your excellent services again. ; ) Thanks Again Ann, God Bless, Dean H.
09/09/03 Thank you for getting back to me, and that is great news!!! I will definitely order it sometime today. Louise S.
09/07/03 Fast responses to an unusual question. Certainly appreciate all the help! Donna N.
09/02/03 Quick response with good diagnostic advice. Bill M.
09/01/03 Excellent customer service and very fast and accurate answers. I will be back when I need you again. Joe B.
08/21/03 Eric- You were right! It was the "Pot & Pans" little switch. I bought the meter and was finding out how to use it when I thought I would examine the switches you were going to have me test. I noticed a discoloring around the connection, moved it back and forth, and a rather large flash occurred, and it started working. I turned off the circuit-breaker, cleaned up the connections, and it works! Do I wait for it to die again, wait for a fire to pop up inside the dishwasher, replace it, or not worry about it? I'm sure liabilities prevent you from one or more of the answers, but any other advice I should know about? Jay H.
08/21/03 Thanks Ann for the quote. Yes, it is the timer, a couple of the electrical contacts broke on one side. Used sounds good to me so I'm heading over to the order page now. Thanks, Dan C.
08/20/03 Ann, Thank you so much for your earlier help, the knob on the oven was just off of the manual mark....DUH! Thank you again...it is so great when someone helps you instead of trying to gouge you. You guys are the greatest!!! Kirk S.
08/19/03 Dear Elaine and the other helpers, I ordered a drive belt for my Kenmore washer last week and installed it easily myself . The instructions were clear and easy to understand once I studied the pictures. It arrived in just 2 days to my home in Iowa. If I had even been able to find the part locally, it would have cost at least 3 times more than I paid you folks. Thank you all for the great service. I look forward to doing business with you again soon. Steve J.
08/18/03 Hi Ann, Thanks for your response. Eureka -- you're right! The tag was, indeed, tucked behind the crisper! The model # is TPK160EN0D and the serial # is 097R012839 (manufactured 9/87). Hope this helps, and thanks for your patience! Take care, John S.
08/16/03 Thank you Ann for your help. I appreciate it. Just as you said, when I disassembled the dryer I got ounces of lint from the insides, pounds from under the machine. I put it back together and returned it
to service much cleaner. It is in the church and doesn't get heavy use, but has probably never been cleaned. You guys have a great weekend too. Best to you guys. Ray K.
08/13/03 Your suggestion was a huge money saver for me. The Sears repairman who came out to the house wanted to charge me $450, and I contacted you in search of a more economical alternative. You provided prompt, straightforward and honest information. Thanks again. I will keep your company in mind for future appliance needs and be sure to recommend you to others. Thanks again, Glenn S.
08/06/03 Absolutely correct!!! Very Fast, Precise answer. Thank You Very Much. Martin B.
08/05/03 Eric was clear and prompt with his answers. He knows his stuff. Brian C.
08/05/03 This is the black plastic door handle for the upper oven. 6 inches long with 3 screw holes. I would like to thank Ann again for her help in locating this part. What great service! Carol M.
08/04/03 Dear Ann, You are an angel !! It looks perfect. Please let me know what the price is and the procedure for ordering and paying for it. I can't believe that you went to so much trouble, but it's nice to know that there are still people like you in the work force. I would really like to email someone to let them know what a wonderful job you did for me. Can you give me a name and email address?? I look forward to hearing from you. Judi M.
08/03/03 Hi Eric, thanks for such a quick response. I found my problem behind the panel in the freezer, the fan is worn out. I started turning it with my finger and it started to run and cool again. It stopped eventually so I'll have to replace the fan. Thanks a lot for your help, I almost threw away a perfectly good refrigerator. Glad I waited and talked to you guys first. You saved me a lot of money that I really can't spare. Thanks again.. GOD Bless Tony P.
08/02/03 Ann, Yipeee! Flushed the drain using hot water and a turkey baster....and sucked out a dust ball....once removed, drain flows freely. Thanks so much for your help on this! I will check the bolts and level the fridge...and you are right on target there. We bought the fridge from my sister...worked fine at her house and has been a royal pain at mine...leaks, can't use the ice dispenser, etc. If simple bolt tightening and leveling does not help, will order the valve.
I commend you on your web site AND your service. Your web is:
· Pleasing to the eye
· Very easy to navigate and find information
· VERY informative
And….I cannot say “THANKS” enough for walking me through this simple and cost saving solution. As an owner of a small business myself, I know that a happy customer willing to tout your praises is the best advertising….I will do my part and sing your praises at each given opportunity!! Thanks again! Linda P.
08/02/03 Ann, Thank for your very fine service and attention. Cheers, Larry A.
08/01/03 Hi Eric, Thank You for your prompt reply. If I need any further help I will check back with you. Regards, Sandee G.
07/29/03 Ann, that was a very fast and helpful response! Very impressive and useful website, but more important, are the professionals that answer emails timely and knowledgeably. Thank you for your help with my problem! Chris F.
07/29/03 Thanks Ann. You were very prompt and your answers were very clear. I'll follow your instructions and let you know how it goes. Ed W.
07/28/03 Thank you very much Eric and Ann. Just as you predicted, we found a kid's sock in the pump. It is not easy to open up a washer to get to the pump. It took us more 3 hours. Thanks again. Hai X.
07/25/03 Thank you Eric. Problem apparently resolved. A piece of insulation had fallen into the fan behind the unit which jammed it. Cleared the fan and it runs normally. The refrigerator and freezer temperature quickly returned to normal once the fan was cleared. Apparently without the fan running, the compressor was cutting out due to heat build up in the coil. by the way, the model number I gave you is all that's listed on the name and data plate. Thanks again, Ron D.
07/24/03 Excellent, explicit and easy to understand. Mary G.
07/23/03 Hi Ann, Just wanted to thank you for your prompt replies and BIG help in my "project." Received both parts this morning and immediately put them in. Everything seems to be working and drink access tap doesn't seem to be leaking. I hope this refrigerator just keeps on chugging. Hope none of my other appliances start falling apart, but I promise you guys will get my first phone call (or email). I've even recommended you to my buddies. Have a great summer as well and I hope you stay a bit cooler than we are down in Florida (the panhandle, at least) Cheers!! Phil M.
07/21/03 Eric & Ann, Just wanted to let you know I got the part yesterday and I have good news and bad. The good news is the part works fine and the oven is back in action. Bad news is my wife had to go back to cooking now that it's working again. Thanks again for all your help. Tom C.
07/20/03 Thank you for your help. I did soak the gasket in hot water and try your suggestion. Faith C.
07/19/03 Thank You for your trouble. I appreciate your quick response, even though you could not help us. Sincerely, Bonnie R.
07/17/03 Hi Ann! Just wanted to give you an update, the thermistor is in and has fixed our problem. Now that it's running cooler it doesn't make the 'bearing' sound. You'll be the first to know when I need new parts! Thanks for all your help, Michael S.
07/16/03 It was nice working with Ann. She answered all my questions and went out of her way to help me. Frank W.
07/14/03 Dear Eric and Ann, First of all thank you for the help. It was a pleasure to deal with a company who cares about people unlike a certain plumbing company I am doing a battle with. I did what you said and the motor hummed. What I found out was the gear drive was somehow jammed and I managed to get it working again. I do not know what cause it to jammed but as of now the unit is working fine. I still want the price just in case the gear drive goes out again. My mother in law was well pleased with your company since she is on a tight budget. I will have your company first in line in case I need other parts. Thank you again for your help and I will tell other handymen people about your company. Thank you again for your help!! Sam P.
07/13/03 Dear Eric, That was exactly it! Thank you so much for the helpful info AND in such a timely manner! I will definitely recommend your website to others in the future. Thanks again! Dione R.
07/11/03 I have asked Eric and Ann questions twice, and both times they have gotten back to me promptly. Also, VERY helpful, honest advice (even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear!!). Thanks! Meghan
07/10/03 I needed an oven rack for my range. I found out they are no longer available from GE for my model. These guys found me a used one that fits perfectly. They even answered my emails back and forth on Sunday. I will order from them again. You do not find customer service like this anymore!!!!! Don F.
07/06/03 Thank You for your Expert help and advise. Your answers have helped us save money because we did not have to call in a service technician and your price on the part was much more reasonable than of our local appliance parts place. I take my hat off to your and your company. Thank You! Justin
07/03/03 Thank you very much for your help. I checked the controls and discovered the freezer control was stuck. All it took was a little adjustment and it is working fine. Mike H.
07/01/03 Very quick response, I got my questions answered in minutes! Thank you so much.. Outstanding instructions and website! Thank You. Will E.
06/28/03 I just wanted to let you know how delighted I was with your recent service for me. You answered my request faster than anybody else, provided great telephone support and went the extra mile to try to find a temperature probe for my microwave oven. The parts arrived promptly as promised. It turns out you were also the low price, though I had already ordered from you. Steve W.
06/27/03 Eric: Just a short note to tell you that the new timer appears to be working GREAT!!! Thanks for all your time and patience!!! I still can't figure out how TWO local appliance repair guys couldn't figure it out. You've got all our parts business from now on. Have a great weekend!!! Jerry B.
06/26/03 Thanks Ann, I had trouble as well with the igniters on the range top and he replaced the main wiring unit in the range. It didn't fix it. He came back and it got a little better. With your help I decided to replace the igniters on the range top and it fixed it right away. $7 each from you. I put a call into this guy. I'm ready to call the BBB and complain. His actions cost me a lot of money and time to solve this and buy 3 igniters instead of one! It is so nice to have such good service from you guys. Rick R.
06/26/03 I would like to thank both Eric and Ann Campion. They dealt with me for approximately one month and were patient enough to take me one step at a time. After each step they would always want to know how it went. They are very knowledgeable, always responded quickly, and were very polite. I always felt like I was dealing with family. Thanks to them my dryer now works perfectly. You are truly number 1. THANK YOU KINDLY. Motero
06/23/03 Thank you for your help. Your response was great. This is the first time I have used your site, but if all the experts are of the same caliber, I am sure it will not be the last. Sites like yours are what the internet should be like! Charlotte R.
06/22/03 Greetings Eric! Your description of the solenoid valve on that Frigidaire dishwasher was right on the money. Once I drug the portable machine out from its nook in my shop I was able to lay it on its side, and really get a full view of the assembly. This sure beats standing on your head to work on a built in machine. That is why I have always had a portable machine in my shop; ease of service. Once on its back I could see that the solenoid was moving freely, but the drain valve arm was slow to return to its top stop position, if it returned at all. This was the source of my pumping the water out while the machine should have been in a wash cycle. Since this is just the machine in my shop I opted to fix it with an external return spring on the valve lever arm. A slightly modified carburetor linkage return spring was just the ticket. Thanks again for guiding me in the right direction. Cheers, The Admiral
06/21/03 The fan motor is totally seized and will not turn at all. I had already set up the box fan prior to your reply. I do thank you for your help. It must be difficult trying to diagnose problems without seeing the appliance and for that... I take my hat off to you. Please keep up the good work. I'm sure I'll use the service again. Thanks again... Great Job! Pat G.
06/20/03 Ann, Thanks for your persistence. The United States Parcel Service finally got the package rerouted to my home address in zip 28203. Your package was delivered to my home on Saturday, June 14. I installed the timer and its working fine. I discovered that the plastic control knob that "starts" the dryer is cracked so do you carry such plastic parts for GE dryers? Bob M.
06/18/03 Thank you so much! I have book marked your site and will check with you when we need more help. It happens around our home all the time. I really feel you went to a next level with your assistance. Should I have the opportunity to recommend you in the future, I certainly will do so. David E.
06/16/03 I received the Clock/Control unit on Friday. Installed it that evening and everything is working properly. Thanks for all your help in getting my oven working again. Thanks, Rob M.
06/13/03 Dear Ann, Thank you for the wonderful help your company provided to assist me with getting my GE microwave oven operational again. The service I received from Affordable Appliance, and specifically you and Eric were superb. I specifically appreciate you allowing me to return the touchpad that I didn’t need and for Eric’s assistance with helping me to troubleshoot the actual problem that turned out to be the power control PC board. I’m frankly a little embarrassed that I didn’t properly diagnosis the problem with my microwave oven correctly the first time since my background is in electronics.
Being the Quality Manager for my company, I deal with customer complaints on a daily basis. While you’ve indicated Affordable Appliance is a small company, I can tell you that your company could be a model for other much larger companies on how to delivery CUSTOMER SERVICE, from the fast turnaround on parts, to the expert technical advise, to allowing me to talk directly with a real live person versus an automated telephone selection menu.
Again, I appreciate your efforts and response to my problem. And yes, I did learn a good lesson; I will call and discuss any future appliance problems with you and Eric before I order the wrong part next time. While I don’t want to have more appliances break, I look forward to doing business with Affordable Appliance when the need arises. Best regards, Charlie B.
06/11/03 Everything is working fine. How do people get by without a dishwasher?? Thanks for all your help. It would have been a lot easier to solve as a problem if the whole thing had not fused together. Thanks... Daniel M.
06/09/03 Thanks for your help... as I have said in the past, I will be sure to keep you in mind when I find friends and co-workers looking for appliance assistance. Thank You! Regan M.
06/08/03 Hello, I just want to thank you for the parts. The frig was sitting in my basement for a year without the hinges. I looked all over. The hinges fit perfect. For $50.00 you saved me $500.00 in aggravation. Thanks....Dennis C. Summit, PA.
06/07/03 Thank you for your accuracy. I'm looking forward to receiving those two items. Best regards, Vera F.
06/06/03 Hi Ann! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! WOW. I am impressed with your service. I like the new clock and how can we do this? I can send you my Visa Card Number, if this is alright. Regards, John B.
06/04/03 Hi Folks, I received the part I ordered. Thank you. I recommended you to a local service dealer in this area. The owners name is John, ( oddly enough ) the company name is "Affordable Appliance Service". I also gave him your 800 number. He was glad to find out about you guys because his local suppliers has told him on many occasions that parts were not available. He was surprised to here that I found the part even though GE also said no longer manufactured. Thanks again for all your help & good luck in your business. Sincerely, Vince S.
06/03/03 Hi Guy's just wanted to thank you for the fast and professional service!! I got my timer today and the washer is up and running!! I will recommend you guys to everyone I know. Thanks again! Chuck S.
06/02/03 Thanks for your prompt help. Got the part today. Charlie & Sheri B.
06/02/03 Ann, Finally, my husband had time to take my stove apart and use the parts that you were so helpful in finding. Thank You so much for taking the time to research such a small part which was such a BIG PART of putting my kitchen back together. Everything is working fine! Not only did your efforts in locating all that we needed help get the stove back together, it also kept us from having to totally remodel the cooking island and repair the cabinets to replace a stove. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!! Jane G.
06/01/03 Dear Mr. & Mrs. Campion, Thank you for all your help. I know you must be a very successful company because your hard work and attention to customers must make it so. Daniel M.
05/30/03 Hi Eric & Ann: We received the hob element module yesterday & it works great!!! Thanks again for your help. I have two other questions for you. Do you just sell parts & used appliances, and do you also repair them? We would like to get our old module repaired preferably by someone familiar this type of item. The other question is do you sell a good cleanser for stainless steel/cast iron stove stops? I used to buy a real good kind at Sears, however, they don't always have it. Any assistance you can offer will be appreciated. Best Wishes, Debra M.
05/26/03 Hi, Our part arrived quickly and works perfectly. Thank You so much!!! Sincerely, Cheri and Gary M.
05/26/03 Received the parts today and they work like a charm. Thanks so much for your service and I will keep you in mind in the future for myself as well as others. George S.
05/24/03 Hey, Thanks Guys. My dryer appears to have improved 100%. Thanks, you guys are the best. There was so much wet looking lint on the (cheese grater looking) outlet, located behind the blower wheel housing. That was really blocked, just as you said. I cleaned that off and cleaned the shoot out and it is working great. Thanks!! You guys are incredible. Wayne I.
05/22/03 I really appreciate your customer service mentality. Fantastic !! Thanks.. Jennifer M.
05/14/03 My wife called at 2:00 Wednesday to tell me a package had arrived from you which I ordered Monday. She and my sons learned long ago not to open anything till I get home for fear of losing small parts. After only 2 days of hand washing dishes, she was about to pop to get her dishwasher fixed. I was thrilled to open the box to find a well-packed and almost-new motor for my dishwasher, complete with a personalized note and happy-face sticker. I swapped the mounting bracket and 30 minutes later we were washing dishes again. I know you advised that it might not be just a bad motor. I know the motor was bad, and I hope the pump is OK for at least a year more. I am a very tough customer, and I am extremely satisfied. Top notch service, help, fast delivery, great prices, and quality parts. Who could ask for more? Regards, Barry H.
05/14/03 Team Affordable-Appliance, Great job! Today, I received the parts you sent for my GE cook top and refrigerator (spark module, gas valve knobs and ice door flapper). All parts fit and work fine. When I need more stuff, I'll be back. Regards, Vince T.
05/12/03 Ann, Received the part, looks like the correct one. I'll rely on your service in the future. By the way I found your company through Google. Thanks. Craig M.
05/10/03 Received the thermostat for the Tappan oven and it fit and works! I gave the appliance repair guys your web site address. All the repair guys I called around here told me they couldn't get the part for that old of a Tappan oven. The guys that put in the thermostat also call themselves Affordable Appliance (Repair). Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and let you know that if anyone needs old parts or new one (there are 31 homeowners in this condo complex with the same oven) I will point them in your (web site) direction. Ellen H.
05/06/03 Eric, Thank you for your quick response, good customer service is very important and less common than it used to be! I did call UPS and it is as you said, they goofed this one up and delivered my package today. The motor is in and running at least this one problem is solved. Again, thank you for your quick service! Wayne D.
05/04/03 I received my oven hinges today and they are just the part I needed. Thank you for your excellent service and prices. Michael C.
05/03/03 Very accurate and quick response. George
05/02/03 Eric & Ann: You guys are great! Kit arrived today. It's installed. It works (though not as well as the original when it was healthy, but that's a White Westinghouse/Frigidaire issue). So long as I have the capacity to figure out what's wrong, and you have the capacity to figure out what's right, my local "brain surgeon" repair man is fired and you're hired for life. I'll spread the word. Bless you. John U.
05/01/03 Our order arrived today and my husband groaned at your speed because he thought he had at least another week (to stall fixing the washer)!!!! Congratulations on your excellent, tho depressing for my husband, customer service! :} THANK YOU! Christine H.
04/28/03 Thanks for the service. I received the Pump/Motor assembly for our GE Dishwasher earlier this week. I have since installed it and all seems to be well. Do you want the old one? It leaks water. Paul D.
04/21/03 Thank you for your prompt reply, and for the info. Have a great day.
04/23/03 Fast and thorough reply! Thanks for all your help! Janet
04/18/03 15 minutes to respond. And 100% correct in diagnosis. Problem Solved !!! Thanks a bunch... I'll be in touch again I bet! Tom M.
04/17/03 Information was very helpful. The response rate was very fast. Al I.
04/14/03 Very quick response, less than an hour and good advice. Thanks!
04/10/03 Ann, just wanted to "Thank You" for all your help in finding this clock timer for me! I really appreciate it!! We finally got it installed and it is working great! Our guys with our local appliance repair shop was amazed when I told them I found the part!! They just couldn't believe it!! So I gave them your information from the card you sent and told them they should try using you guys for their Obsolete Parts needs!! I knew someone had to have these pieces!! Because I am in the Obsolete parts business myself! Although I deal in old Ford Car & Truck parts instead of appliance parts, so if you come across any Ford brand parts instead of Tappan, Roper or Norge, then give them my number or email address!! Thank you again!!! Dan H.
04/05/03 Ann, Thank you very much for the lead and the number. You have gone "above and beyond"! Robert E.
04/03/03 Thank you, Eric! I never thought about taking it out to the garage on the concrete. Wish I had thought of it last week, when I replaced the water valve. Jo E.
04/04/03 Thanks so much for your quick response! Got my new cartridge....works wonderfully. Thanks so much! Great customer service!! Maggie D
04/03/03 Thanks for the great and helpful page. I found it one day late but it still helps. I have replaced the drive belt and all appears to work well except for when it spins. It seems to be underpowered and cannot get going under a load of laundry. Empty it spins a bit slower than I remember. I will try some of the steps on your page tomorrow. Have you any suggestions form to look at? Thank you for your help. L. McMahon
04/01/03 Ann, OK, OK jumping the lid switch worked. It spins and drains like a champ. Thank you so much for your help. I will go to your web site and see if ya'll carry the switch I need. Thanks again. Duane & Lisa G.
03/29/03 Ann, Thank you for your assistance in locating where to register a Maytag appliance. That was thoughtful of you to send me the information. Yes, I was in the service but am retired. By the way, I grew up in central PA. My dad taught school in Tremont a couple years (coached). Again, thanks for your assistance. William S.
03/20/03 Thanks very much for your time Ann, I really appreciate the effort you've made! Take care. M.C.
03/18/03 Hi Eric and Ann, I feel like we have known each other for years. I just sent an Email to those on my address book campaigning for your business. Good luck and thanks again. Keep in touch. Best Always, Bill T.
03/13/03 Thank you for having a website with just the right information, exactly when I needed it. Our Maytag washer was making terrible noises, which I traced tonight to the belt system, and your belt-replacement diagram will be very helpful. Sorry I can't give you some business, but as we are in Canada . . .well, I know you understand. Thanks again for a great website. Much appreciated. Scott M.
03/04/03 Ann, thank you very much for all your efforts. You really went above and beyond. I have a bunch of old appliances and hopefully I'll be able to use you again for parts. Regards, Andrew D.
03/03/03 I want to thank you so much. We got the part Saturday. My husband put it on the dryer and it works beautifully. There are some other things working on my dryer now. I don't know if it has to do with the new part. My wrinkle guard works and my buzzer now works. You have made one woman in Texas happy! I did not want a new dryer. I wanted to keep my dryer. Thanks again. Don B.
03/01/03 Wow....you're the greatest. Yes, somehow the clock controls were bumped. The oven now works. Yeah...(I think)! I was really hoping for an excuse for a new range. Oh well.... Thanks again. With any luck, my range will break again....Then I can buy a new range from you... :-) Ruth W.
02/27/03 Dear Ann, Just wanted to take a moment to say thanks. The motor and lint screen worked out just great. A picture is worth a thousand un-necessary headaches! Again, it was a pleasant transaction, hitting the bulls eye on the first shot! Tom B.
02/22/03 Dear Ann, Just a quick note to let you know that we received the timer you sent--actually it was almost a week ago, but things have been a little hectic lately and I haven't had a chance to write. I also wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your excellent customer service, promptness in responding to my request, and the speed with which you got my order to me. The timer was also very clean--unlike all the other used timers I'd seen in my quest--and most importantly, it works!!! I really hope I won't need to order any more washer parts anytime soon, but I will remember your company and pass your name along to my friends if they have any appliance problems. Thanks again, Adam W.
02/05/03 Hi Ann, Thanks for being so helpful with my dryer problem. I thought I was going to be forced to pay a lot more money to a repairman. I have installed the motor and it is working fine. Consider me a new and satisfied customer. I will be telling others about your website. Thanks again! P.S. My wife is happy as well, no more Laundromat, ha ha. Jeff C.
02/02/03 Ann: I found your store while searching the internet for "affordable" GE range replacement parts. While looking over your parts list I had a questions so I decided to call and spoke with you, Ann. You were very pleasant and informative and when you said you'd call me back in 10 minutes you did! You even advised me to use a part I could get locally for 6 dollars rather than send me the part that YOU had in stock! Service like this is just not found very much these days. Anyway... I think its smart because I just found a new parts supplier and will tell others of you as well. Thanks again for all your assistance. Dan R.
01/24/03 Eric and Ann were great. Both were helpful and courteous. My problem was fixed much to my surprise and their expert advise within 24hrs and it cost me nothing but my time. I was just about to purchase a new appliance when I e-mailed them. Now I can buy some new tires instead. Thanks again. Ed C.
01/12/03 Ann...I wanted to send you a note of thanks for your awesome support. I was ready to buy a motor from you for our dryer and you actually suggested that I look into it a little further before purchasing a potentially unnecessary part. Come to find out you were exactly right! There was nothing wrong with the motor at all. The belt had simply slipped off. The kicker is that we had a "professional" local repairman come and assess the situation for us and he was the one who told us that the motor was shot. I'm glad he didn't offer to take the "useless" dryer off of our hands! Needless to say, we won't be calling on him any more and our dryer is working fine. Your professionalism and honesty are remarkable for this day and age. Thank you very much. I will keep your website in my favorites and have recommended you to a number of people! Sincerely, Joel L.
01-05-03 Eric.. I tried G.E.'s on-line advise first--set freezer and refrigerator back to normal (5). Everything in the fridge really froze then! Then I tried your advise and I unplugged the unit for 8 hours, plugged it back in with freezer set on 4 and fridge set on 3. So far (4 days) everything seems normal. Thanks for the help!! Clyde P.
12-26-02 Dear Pamela...Did you look inside the pump, if not, check there first. You have an electric pump. Is it running? Inside the electric pump housing are impellers. They may be tangled with lint balls or string. Pull out all you can and if the impellers are not damaged, your pump should be fine. If the impellers are damaged, you may have to replace the pump. (Response) Hi Ann, thanks for your response. I took the hoses off the pump and found the big one to the tub clogged. I cleaned the hose and the pump and the washer now works like new. Thank You! Pamela O.
12-21-02 I wanted to thank you on your great service and prices. We got our stovetop today and installed it without a hitch. It's great to know that there are still companies out there that give good service! Happy Holidays! Tom & Sheila H.
12-18-02 Thank you Ann... I think my best bet is to bite the bullet. This unit has served me well, this is no time to start spending money on it. Your response was excellent, I will use your service in the future. Have a great Christmas. Dick M.
12-16-02 Eric & Ann...Thanks for your help, I took the water inlet valve apart and found that the screen was blocked with sand. I cleaned it out and everything has been working great!!!! I also installed a filter where the water comes into the house from the well to prevent this from occurring in the future. Thanks again for your help and knowledge in solving this is issue. If I have any future needs for appliance parts you'll definitely be my source of supply !!!! Brian P.
12-10-02 Dear Ann...Thank you for your free advise and your wonderful service. We ordered the coupler, and although we had absolutely no experience in this arena, we managed to replace the part and put it all back together. Everything works great now! You guys saved us at least $300, since we didn't have to buy a new washer. Also, everyone we dealt with, both online and on the phone, was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We couldn't have asked for better service. I would recommend your service to anyone with appliance questions or problems. Thanks again! Cristin D.
12-04-02 Thanks a lot for the advise. It was right on the money... the refrigerator is 14 months old and the warranty was only good for 12 months, however the problem was the compressor went bad, which is a good thing, because this particular part has a 5 year warranty. So labor and parts are going to cost me nothing. Thanks again! Liza P.
11-22-02 Ann, I just wanted to drop you two a note to let you know that the repair of the Whirlpool oven was successful. Replacing the microcomputer was the key. Thanks again to the super service. I attached a copy of our emails to the inside of the stove so that I can call you the next time I have any problem with an appliance. I first attempted to call Whirlpool service about a year ago when a fuse blew in my built-in microwave oven. They basically blew me off and sent me to Sears. Sears was willing to have someone come out to my house for a "minimal" service fee of $55... and then he could give me a quote for the parts and labor to fix the part the next time he could come out. I ended up fixing the microwave for less than $2 by buying a replacement microwave fuse from the local hardware store. You guys made it possible for me to "cheaply" (relatively speaking) fix my oven by myself. You and your husband were more helpful than Sears and Whirlpool put together. (Actually, MUCH more helpful -- since you two where helpful and friendly and they were a waste of my time). I just got the phone call from Heather: the pizzas are done. Time to eat. Thank you again! We love you. (And I won the kitchen cleaning bet... by practically an entire week.) And thanks for being one of the few .com stores that has reasonable shipping charges. I ordered balloons (24 balloons in a plastic bag) and the minimum S&H charge for the slowest method of shipping was $13.95. Pissed me off. Even over the Internet and a few phone calls, I get the warm & fuzzy (local) feeling from having dealt with your company. Thank you! Benjamin M.
11/21/02 I just wanted to Thank Eric and everyone else that helped me with my dryer problem. I received the wire, thermostats and installed them today. I now have medium heat and the satisfac
